I JAMES LONG of the State and
County above written being of sound and perfect mind and memory
blessed be God, do this 10th day of July in the year of our Lord
one Thousand Eight Hundred and Forty two make and publish this
my last will and testament in the manner following 1st I give
and bequeath by soul to God who gave it my boddy [sic] to be
buried in a decent manner. 2nd I give and bequeath to my wife
Delila Long all the real and personal estate that I possess consisting
of one tract of land containing 50 acres more or less, all the
horses cattle sheep hogs and every part of my property. Household
and kitchen furniture and every part of my substance to me belonging.
In witness whereof I the said
JAMES LONG have to this my last will and testament set my hand
and seal this day and date above written, Signed sealed published
and declared by the said JAMES LONG the testator as his last
will and testament in the presence of us who were present at
the time of signing and sealing thereof
