Macon NC through his sons Henry G. Long and James R. Long
Also note James R. Long was
a JP for many marriages in the 1840s & George W. Long was
a JP for many marriages in the 1860s
1844 Deed Book C, p. 171 (transferred
to Book Q, p. 603) Deed dated 2 Jan. 1844, recorded 9 Nov. 1844,
from J. P. Long, Rabun Co., GA, and Henry Long, Haywood
Co., NC, to John Kelly, Rabun Co., GA, conveyed Lots 9 and
10, containing 1½ acres, in Town of Clayton, for $600.
