Some very nice person sent me a copy of Mastin
Long's bible record several years ago. The reason is that they
believe my, William Martin's widow (and his 2nd wife) had remarried
to Josiah Long. The Martin children are also listed in this bible.
So, I believe Josiah Long was married to Rebeccah Ross Martin
(daughter of Walter Ross)... which may well have been his second
marriage. In the 1790 Anson, they are all listed there on the
same page.

was owned by Mrs. Mary Long Mills of Lilesville, NC:
