1. Aaron Dowdy b 1796 NC  to Hall GA, Henry GA, and to Lumpkin GA. d. 19 Jul 1890 in Lumpkin GA. Buried Siloam Bap Ch. Cem. Was a private in Capt David Gillespy's Co 4 Reg't, GA Militia, War of 1812. Note: according to the 1880 census, the father of Aaron Dowdy was born in NC and the mother born in Pennsylvania.

+ 1)Sarah______ (source? Did researchers confuse this Sarah with the one listed below?) This wife appears to have died prior to 1830 leaving 2 young sons and 2 young daughters in 1830 census.
