Walter B. Dowdy is listed as a witness to the will of William Dowdy (d. 1844) of Bedford [SEE WILL OF WILLIAM DOWDY OF BEDFORD VA]and as a surety to the marriage of Hundley Dowdy's daughter, Locky, in 1846.
