Will recorded in Hall County Book A page 149 refers to his "wife Masy, with whom I have lived in quiet for sixty-three years." The will also contains the following bequest: "I give and bequeath to my two granddaughters, Sarah L. Lancaster and Mary A. Lancaster, now Mary A. Reed, wife of William L. Reed, the portion of my daughter, Anna Lancaster, deceased." etc.
