In the 1880 census it shows William and Nancy's ages as 45 and
35. They had Thomas Fleming, my grandfather, John age 10, Sally
age 6, Mollie age 5, and Henreyetta ? I don't know what
happened to John Dowdy, he just sort of disappeared. I don't
know if he took off or died. I haven't been able to find any
information about him yet. Nancy [ed-Mary?] and her son William
B. were listed on one census as living with a family by the name
