1835 May 15- "Ran away from the subscriber living in Harris Co 6 miles south of Hamilton, 2 negro fellows Alfred and Caesar. Alfred is 22 years of age...Caesar is about the same age...These negros will probably say, if interogated, that they belon to George W. Heard of Elbert County from whom I heired Alfred.
